Dwight Ward's pottery studio sits at the edge of Jolly Bay, about 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico on the panhandle of Florida. It is an idyllic, inspirational setting and inspire it does. Whether it be Ward's earthy stonewary utilitarian pieces or his sculptural raku, there is a feeling of nature in his work. When subjective, his subjects are most often of nature... fish, leaves, dragonflies, and his colors also seemed to be inspired by nature. Dwight has been a big part of building the Artists at Gulf place and continues to lead the way as he continually inspires and supports the community of artists.
John Hollan was raised in a small farming community in Arkansas. Photography was his creative outlet starting in High School. After finishing college, he decided to follow this dream full time. Having worked in advertising, high fashion and multiple other fields of photography, John realized that he most enjoyed working with people. Also having a love of the beach, the two went together like peanut butter and jelly. John and his wife Deah moved to the Emerald Coast in 2005 and have been blessed to be surrounded by so many great friends and clients. John Hollan Photography has been part of the Artists at Gulf place community since 2008. Make an appointment with John to photograph your family at the beach.

In 2011, a series of pretty profound life events merged to produce the perfect storm of inspiration within Sara, and she hasn't stopped creating since. Through it all, she's learned that she is really only a tiny vessel in the channel of creativity which flows through each of us infinitely. Sara does not TRY to create.... she simply allows that which has already been created to travel outside of her. Since October 2011, Sara has produced a larger quantity of work than in the previous 31 years combined. Sara is grateful for her gift and even more grateful to be able to share it with you!
