Gulf Place Announces 2015 Summer Camps

 

Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. (March 16, 2015) - Gulf Place on 30A announces the schedule for their 2015 summer camps and workshops. Beginning June 1, 2015, through August 8, 2015, The Artists at Gulf Place and 30A Learning Academy will host interactive workshops and adventure camps that will keep kids engaged and active.

 

The Artists at Gulf Place will host an array of art workshops Tuesday through Saturday in the Artist Colony beginning June 2, 2015. Workshops include Metal Flowers with Billie Gaffrey (Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Tie-die with Kris Ogdon (Wednesday and Saturday 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.), Sealife Creatures with David Hansel (Thursday 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.) and Pet Shells with Maxine Orange (Thursday 2p.m. – 4 p.m.). 30A Learning Academy invites children and parents to get involved with their summer camps. Beginning June 3, 2015, 30A Learning Academy will host Kids/Parents Night Out every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. For $40 per child, parents can enjoy a night out while their children enjoy a night of games, crafts, movies and more in a safe, private school environment. 30A Learning Academy’s Adventure Camps will encourage children to get outdoors and explore. The alternating Tuesday and Thursday adventure camps will begin June 16, 2015. For $45 per day, children are invited to participate in hands-on & out and about field experiences to learn about Northwest Florida's diverse ecosystems and explore the unique environmental wonders of our 30A and Emerald Coast area. Adventure camp locations will include Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Conservation Park, Ponce de Leon Springs, Indian Temple Mound and more.
