30A Vet to Celebrate One Year Anniversary at Gulf Place
All are welcome to attend this First Annual Block Party Celebration
Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. (September 4, 2014) – Dr. Tonia Shatzel and the staff of 30A Vet in Gulf Place on the corner of Scenic Highway 30A and County Highway 393 will hold their one-year anniversary celebration and block party on September 10, 2014, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
Four-legged friends are welcome to attend the event to enjoy swimming pools, costume contests, and treats. The celebration will also feature raffle prizes, beer/wine, Sweet Henrietta’s cupcakes, and live music from The Forrest Williams Band.
Dog and cat costume contests are encouraged and awards will be given out for Best Costume, Pet Look-Alike, or Happiest Face. Winners of these dog shows will be awarded exciting prizes donated by 30A.com, Furry Fanatics, Jade Nails, Allison Craft Designs, and more. Special guests in search of adopting pets in need of forever homes from Alaqua Animal Refuge are also invited to attend.
After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, Dr. Tonia Shatzel practiced four years before opening Lanier Animal Hospital in Gwinnett County, Georgia. In 2006 Dr. Shatzel became a part-time local to Walton County, and obtained her Florida Veterinary License in 2012 after which she started providing house calls on a limited basis. In January of 2013, she began the process of creating 30A Vet, providing mobile veterinary services while the hospital was being built.
Dr. Shatzel and her caring staff have had the opportunity and pleasure of caring for and loving over 1,000 pets that call this area home and they wish to celebrate this occasion with the community. Guests are invited to bring a chair, their furry friends and a covered dish (optional).
